Envision your night – who will be dancing?

Are they slow dancing or cutting a rug? 

Here are some tips to get started with planning out your vision for the dance floor!

1. At a future date night, have you and your partner/fiance individually create a short list of songs you love for each of the following categories! Some example songs to add include your favorite….
   1. Slow song
   2. Middle & high school anthem(s)
   3. Gym/workout banger
   4. Pump up party song
   5. Parent / Loved one’s favorite song
   6. Also include…
      1. A current ‘most played’ song on your spotify/streaming list
      2. A CD or album you love
      3. A song from a concert you loved
2. Next, you and your fiance also choose 1 song for different groups of people attending your wedding. This allows you to visualize songs that will get groups of guests dancing. For example, you may envision some family loving “Living on a Prayer, Bon Jovi”… And another friend group rocking out to “September, by Earth Wind and Fire”. A final friend group may love anything Bad Bunny or Peso Pluma. Try to find songs that you both also enjoy, so that all songs added to your wedding list are something you listen to. We are willing to bet that you’ll be able to pick songs for different group pretty quickly – because these are your family and friends!

In this exercise alone, you already have a solid playlist of songs for the wedding, which includes your favorites in addition to songs you know family and friends will love.
