Fusion Functions own, Violin Viiv, electrified the SOLD-OUT TD Garden last night as the main event half time show! Alongside Boston street performer, Snap Boogie, the two won the hearts of over 19,000 adults and children working back and forth exchanging breakdancing moves and violin riffs throughout the performance.
Viiv had everyone hooked on her non-stop energy, as she quick-mixed through a variety of hits, including Rihanna’s ‘Rude Boy, DJ Khaled’s, ‘All I Do is Win’ and even ‘He’s a Pirate’ from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The halftime show culminated in Snag Boogie front-flipping over 5 Connecticut Sun Dance Squad members while Viiv created the musical drama for the grand finale.
For women everywhere, it was a truly historic night with Violin Viiv, taking the main stage, and women’s basketball selling out TD Garden for its first ever WNBA game. Performing for the packed TD Garden, the attendees also included Paris 2024 Team USA Olympians! Taylor Spivey, (mixed triathlon-Silver medalist), Alyssa Thomas (Women’s Basketball – Gold medalist) and Jrue Holiday, (Celtics player & Men’s basketball Gold medalist) were all in attendance for the halftime show.
